i heard about this kind of case a year ago, but I just started to think about it. wouldn't be kick ass to own that? you could overclock everything like hell, easy

IF you want to run 0C or below you really have to go with a cascade or LN2 to get those temps. And Ikira that case is awesome I have never seen a vapo chill integrated into a case like that before.

I could be wrong but if something is running at 0 C degrees (like a cpu) wouldnt that damage it also?

I would think the sweat spot to be around 60-70 F, not 32...then again, i dont know much about cooling...

Condensation can [will] form which would short out the processor/mobo and kill either/both items. That is, if not done perfectly/correctly. If you can get your processor to run at ambient at idle, and under 10C over ambient under full load, you're doing better than a ton of people. My [personal] goal is to get my processor to idle at no more than 5C over ambient and have no more than a 10C increase when under load. I'm not there yet, but I hope to be soon, without dumping a small fortune on system cooling.

There are "cases" where the whole system is submerged in a chilled/freezing non-conducting fluid. The downside is that rotating things like HDD and CD drives can't be stored in the case. And it's heavy and non-portable. The vapochill cases mentioned above will only cool the CPU to below ambient temps.

If anyone remembers in Doom3 (or was it HL2 or Far Cry?) there was a level where the servers were stored in a room with bubbles coming out of the servers...
