I was browsing an article or two and noticed the comments.

Some wacko called CeriseCogburn is throwing out insults left and right non stop.

There was no manufacturing capacity you IDIOT LIAR.
...
YET YOU'RE A LIAR NONETHELESS.

Suck it up loser.

CeriseCogburn - Saturday, February 23, 2013 - link
You're an IDIOT.

nVidia sells these for THOUSANDS EACH, and production is LIMITED, you idiot gasbag fool.

The fact that they spare a few dies for a grand shows they are being extremely generous with their profit potential and giving you sick ungrateful whining losers a big freaking break !

But you're FAR TOO STUPID to know that. That's why nVidia has a REAL CEO and you're a crybaby whiner FOOL on the internet, who cannot think past his own insane $360 card budget, AND GETS IT 100% INCORRECT.

When nVidia sells one of these limited production monsters to one of you whining ungrateful OWS crybaby losers for a $1000.00, they are LOSING A COUPLE GRAND IN PROFITS, YOU IDIOT !

Have a nice, dumbed down, idiot crybaby loser day.

I was doing research on the new Haswell integrated graphics (which sounds freaking awesome btw) and that dude was going off in Anand's review discussion too.

Anything goes on Anandtech's comments and forums. You can have an outright insult sling all you like. There is barely any moderation at all. The inclusion of Politics and news and what passes as a discussion there shows how far it can all go.

You shouldn't come here and in the comments looking for the engaging and enlightening conversation, you come to read the nerd rage. Its out of hand but as we have seen so far (the topic has been raised quite a few times this year) they just don't care.

As long as people keep clicking, there isn't any reason to.

And we we have here? dam_amd, linuxlowdown, beenthere, yourma2000, spede all these are bashing Nvidia, but they doesn't sound crazy to you, wand3r3r?

Also Titan wouldn't be overpriced if AMD fanboys stop clicking F5 in websites waiting for good news for AMD and get a job.

Isnt that kinda unfair?
Im sure there are plenty of people with jobs,
who just cant afford to spend 1,000$ on a GPU every other year or so.

Most be alot of "jobless" people on this forum then,
since not everyone here has a Titan GPU.

Ibra just out of curiosity you own a Titan right? or just talking out your arse?

bla bla bla.

Despite your blatant fanboyism at least I don't see you, or the people mentioned, in every page of comments insulting people in the manner that is shown by that psycho poster in the OP. Go read a few pages of the thread, nobody I've seen is on the same level as that wack job.

Oddly he actually has a point here or there but it's obscured by his constant insults.

Feel free to link in some examples of your mentioned insults if it's anywhere near the level of that guy. I haven't followed the comments on the articles but it looks pretty bad at least due to that troll. I await the links for entertainment.

Yeah, this guy should have been taken back to the mental ward long ago. His drivel makes the article comments unreadable. Most disturbing fact is he actually claims to have friends.

Kind of ironic given the OP himself uses the term Nvidiots a lot when partaking in the forum. :p

When there are certain people that

- continuously defend nvidia, even when wrong
- never respond to any points, just avoid the issue/comments
- switch the goalposts every generation
- try to smear amd non-stop
- as well as doing everything in their time on this forum to promote their employer/wannabe employer

I will call them out. However the line is far below what the guy linked is doing. The thing is that when NV offers a superior product / for the price, I will in fact recommend it. These people that I call out usually will not and resort to the behavior mentioned or similar.

His usual trolling name is Silicon Doc.
He's been banned from many tech websites for foul and hateful posts, harassing PMs etc and targets anything to do with AMD/ATi.He has violent reactions to anything negative posted anywhere on the Tech Net against NVDA.

You fancy yourself some kind of AMD robin hood. Your perception of what's right and wrong is the problem and why you being the judge and your sentences are against forum rules. Report posts or be part of the problem. Not defending behavior cited from the Orig post, but it's a extension of schoolyard name calling that some resort to, often. imho

As far as I know I'm not breaking the rules. I could probably watch my words a little that is true.

As for the AMD robin hood, that's not true. I just follow technology in general and it's annoying to see either blind fanbois or paid marketers doing the behavior mentioned above.

Right now it happens to be that their is hardly a reason to buy an NV card as a neutral buyer with the current game bundles and pricing. (3D vision perhaps, but either way those are fringe markets) *Thus the association with AMD

Lightboost is the reason.

Perhaps also fringe right now, but hopefully AMD develops and answer and we see some advance in blur reduction across the board.

There are plenty of reasons, you just don't see these reasons. Which is why you get labeled as being on AMD side.

For one, Nvidia is definitely superior for mini builds due to small PCB footprint and smaller power consumption. It may not hit the higher performance numbers but it stays close while considerably leaner. The 670 has the same footprint as the 7850, same TDP as the 7870, but performs faster than a stock 7950.

PhysX and lightboost, while not considered necessary, are also strong reasons for those who want it. SLI, for another?

There are strong reasons for buying NV, not everyone cares about pure performance/price. There are those who are willing to afford a bit more for those features, and the market is there for them.
