Isn't there a way to auto-lock/archive old threads?

I'm just curious, as it seems there's several times a week where somebody revives a thread that's incredibly old which just gets it locked. Isn't there a way to auto lock a thread after so many days of inactivity? I mean if they're just going to be locked anyway than why not. If it's not built in then maybe there's a vB plug-in that does it. I certainly wouldn't mind a little extra forum downtime to install something that fixes such things. Seems like an easy enough thing to impliment, but I may be wrong.

Personally, I don't see the reasoning behind locking old threads that get bumped.

This mod is about 6 years old, so I imagine there's something more current to accomplish this.

I like it when old threads are bumped. It's fun. I vote 'no' to this suggestion.
