[Disclaimer] This post is NOT a defense of Obama or any member of his ultra statist Admin [/disclaimer].
Unfortunately, it's not transparent enough because too many people lack enough critical thinking ability... all of the tricks performed by the MSM are missed by too many people, for just one example.
It's also unfortunate that Obama has not granted as many FOIA requests as the Bush Admin has, but then Bush was selective, he may have known the FOIA decreased exposure of the govt, and, among other things, he also probably knew that the FOIA granted info often has to be pieced together to yield the truth.
So when Obama said his Admin would be the most transparent ever, he didn't say that he would make it transparent by granting more FOIA requests... he can be very deceptive and I don't like him but he didn't solely and completely execute the policies we suffer from (no one can completely enact/enforce public policy).
Anyway, I hope this post illustrates why I think the FOIA was against liberty.
