This. I admire the man's mental capacity, but a country of over three hundred million should be able to find a presidential candidate who can make an oath before G-d and actually hold to it. Or failing that, not make the damned oath to begin with. Or failing that, have the grace to leave public office BEFORE being outed and his family humiliated.

And Clinton was impeached for committing and suborning perjury, NOT for adultery.

Honestly who the hell cares where these guys are sticking their dicks? I know I don't. If it takes someone screwing everyone in sight to get a President without his head up his ass I say line up the whores and get em to spread wide.

Seriously...would you rather have a Thomas Jefferson in office banging away at various women, some of them slaves, or would you rather have a pious peanut farmer like Jimmy Carter sitting in the Oval Office trying to decide if he should order the grilled chicken or give away the Panama Canal?

President shiner would walk softly and carry a big jar of pickles.

I think the Palin message is interesting to younger voters

What younger voters might those be? Palin's appeal is to the religious right and the phoney small Government types who want a huge military and spy apparatus.

Technically yes, and Gingrich did criticize Clinton for lying. However, he also criticized him for his sexual behavior, saying that he embarassed the country by turning the oval office into the "Jerry Springer show." I guess it's OK to turn the capitol building into the Jerry Springer show but not the oval office.

Good point. However, we're way too sexually puritanical, or at least we pretend to be in public, for these kinds of scandals to have no impact.

I think Newt could certainly out debate President Obama, but could he win a general election? Not so sure.

The GOP usually choses the POTUS nominee from the group of candidates who have been standing in line the longest. This age issue keeps coming up and no one in the party appears to be too concerned about it.
