People like to rant and rave and rail on Microsoft Internet Explorer and extol the virtues of Firefox. Microsoft sucks! Mozilla forever! etc etc etc. . . But check out this link:

Firefox themes by popularity descending

That's right, the most popular look and feel theme for Firefox is one that mimics IE 7 in Windows Vista. Why don't you just go use IE you R-tards!? Hypocrisy anyone?

Gaarrgh - finally got the stupid link right.

No, it's not ironic. Looks and Layout and has nothing to do with why people prefer Firefox

I wouldn't be calling anyone a retard if I were you. Looks and functionality are two very different things. So no, this is not ironic.

what is ironic, however, is that you posted a software thread in the OT forum wen just a few lines up there is a software forum.

I have a IE7 theme for firefox but I don't use firefox anyway because it sucks.

Based on a recent thread, most people use the Default theme. That might be the most popular downloadable theme, but that's just good enough for second place. Second place is the first loser.

Do you not know how to spell retards or were you hoping the moderators would not realize you just called a few hundred of your fellow posters retards?

Either way, that's retarded!

OPs original argument is like saying a man with long hair must want to be a woman... why else would you want to have long hair?

Wow. what kind of issues do you have that you come out guns blaring to call all Firefox users R-Tards? 12% of Americans and 30% of Europeans use Firefox from the last news article on it posted at Slashdot, so I think it has more going for it than looks.

I USE FIREFOX BECAUSE IT'S MORE SECURE : But if I use a theme that looks like another browser I'm a retard anyway, right?

Get out of here, just get out.

Firefox Add-Ons - now that is where things get interesting.

Except on Security. IE7 has a market full of exploits for it, Firefox has a more secure codebase and is rapidly patched to prevent such things.

Not entirely equal. In IE, if I open too many tabs it seems to run out of memory or something and any future tabs I open will just be blank until I close some. With Firefox, if I leave it running for a long period of time it uses obscene amounts of memory for no apparent reason.

Hmm, never noticed this. But IE isn't as bad as it used to be - or so I think. The biggest problem in the past was shady warez/porn sites installing spyware without any kind of prompts. That kind of thing no longer happens, does it?

Well, why would you? Is it dark in that closet? Denial is a deep river.

I'm using Firefox right now. I really like it. I was just pointing out the irony of how some people go out of their way to use Firefox simply because it is not IE but the most popular theme downloaded is the IE skin.
