Anybody else find it funny that StorageReview.com lost virtually everything in a hard-drive failure? I mean, if there's one site that's going to be on the ball in backing up content, you'd think it would be the site that deals with storage.

No malice towards the site admins ... I just found it quite ironic.

That's almost as ironic as a traffic jam when you're already late.

Like the one where this guy who loved to read books was the only person left on earth after a nuclear war, he then goes to the librairy, attempts to pickup a book, but drops and breaks his glasses...

Or the Farside cartoon where the two scientists invent time-machines and happen to send themselves back in time to the exact time/place/location in the Dinosaur age .... where their time-machines crash and destroy each other leaving the two scientists stuck.

LOL,it's the same old song I see in business sites all the time.Very few folks keep data backed up anywhere near as thoroughly as they should. It's just more embarrasing in this case because a storage review site got caught with it's pants down :)

It's like a freeee riiiiddde when you've already paid!

That's gonna leave a mark. Oh well, hopefully they've learned to back up all their info from now on.
