Braille on some non-standardized locations in front of public bathroom door or on the walls themselves. These applies to many other signs as well.

Even a sighted person can't find where the braille is.

Reminds me of this place in town, they have a sign out front that reads "Learn to read here!"

its prolly not intentional, because i assume they use the same peices or even units on drive through as well as walk up ATM's.

Ever hear of a back seat? ;)
I was of an opinion that its a cost saving measure.
It's cheaper to make only one template (for both drive up and walk up ATM's) than it is to make two different keypad templates.

I like yours better though.

I've been alive for over 40 years and I've yet to see a single person feeling up these signs in public.

We need Braille on Traffic Signs! Nothing could be worse than a bunch of Blind People driving around not knowing where they're going!!!

Blame the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). I worked in a sign shop for 4 years, and I hated making ADA signage. So many rules concerning letter height, sign size, letter/sign contrast, etc etc. Also the fact that the store owner was too cheap to buy an automatic brailler, and we had to use one that was years old....you had to manually punch each bump on every ADA sign. It especially sucked when we would would be doing signs for new additions on hospitals....you're looking at 200+ ADA signs easily. God help you if you didn't put the ADA sign 5' off the floor and on the latch side of the door :).
