Islamic militants kill 22 Hindu civilians in Kashmir

More than 60,000 people have been killed since an armed separatist insurgency began in 1989.

Police Inspector-General Sheesh Pal Vaid told the Associated Press news agency the attack took place in a remote village around 170 km (100 miles) from the city of Jammu.

Villagers went to a nearby army camp to seek help, but by the time the troops had returned the assailants had gone, he said.

Anyway, the terrorism in Kashmir is state sponsored by Pakistan. Musharaff himself says that he gives moral support to them. They call them freedom fighters. There is this thing call Azad Kashmir, or supposedly, Free Kashmir. Free from those Democracy loving, evil Indians.

And into the hands of - military regime mixed in with religion loving Pakistanis.

5150Joker, it is a good thing you compared Kashmir to the Israel/Palestine conflict. It is similar in that the muslims drove millions of Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and many others out of Kashmir just like the Palestinians were forced out of their homes. There are more comparisons, but I'll add that one right now.
