Looks like ISIS has Saudi Arabia in its sights. The group is using social networking to gather the names of intelligence officers working for Saudi Arabia. It is speculated once the officers have been identified, they will be assassinated.

The ultra-violent al Qaeda offshoot group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) has targeted Saudi Arabian intelligence officers for a campaign of assassination as part of plans by the group to expand activities inside the oil-rich kingdom.

Will the world react to ISIS like they reacted to Saddam in 1990?

I wonder if obama will respond to ISIS? Maybe impose economic sanctions against the group? I just do not see the obama administration doing anything about isis. Even if the group starts causing widespread unrest in Saudi Arabia, I doubt anything will happen.

They are tenacious, I'll give them that.
I often wonder if some of this tenacity was used for something good or at least useful instead of in service of religion and ideology, how well the Middle East could live.
The world doesn't revolve around Obama, this is a Saudi problem, let them deal with it. They are playing with fire supporting Wahabbi extremism around the world. If they get burned, maybe they'll learn some lessons.

Odd, most analysis suggests that ISIS is a Saudi sock puppet.
Lol. Puppets can never be controlled for long. Once the reins of power are firmly in their hands, they will kill their former masters and take assume their seats of power.

Maybe the world will react like they are Palestinians. Grant them land and tell anyone ISIS attacks that they need to surrender.

After all, Saddam's Iraq was a country, but ISIS is a terrorist organization and we appear to give those preferential treatment.
