The FBI didn't issue a warning, it was Comey speaking candidly in an interview about "hundreds maybe thousands" of Jihad "followers" on social media, few of whom are truly committed or really likely to act.

That sounds about right for a nation of 300M where hundreds of whackjobs can take up any extreme cause from PETA to Jihad and from feminazis to real nazis.

It's about what a reasonable person might expect. the same can be said about FBI efforts towards them if not about the fearmongering spin applied to it all.

OTOH, we're lucky that Repubs haven't started congressional hearings to find the conspiracy behind it all, ya know? Those trumped up fantasies have been the real distractions.
