Arming terrorists to take out Assad. Yes, that is exactly our policy on Syria.

Now: Islamic State militants seize Iraq's biggest Christian city and nearly 40,000 religious minorities are trapped on a mountainside.

ISIS will show you what genocide actually means as they hunt down every last minority.

The Holocaust, Armenia, Rwanda, Cambodia, Nigerian Civil War, Anatolia, Guatemala, and on, and on. the world already knows what genocide actually means. Most of the time it doesn't seem to really give a damn, sad to say.

I don't remember Saddam telling Christians convert or die. Tariq Aziz is a Christian.

That's correct, people in a tribal society need dictators to keep the peace. The lesson of Iraq is clear, the devil you know is better.

WTF are we doing helping ISIS in Syria?! Assad needs to stay, just as Saddam did. The United States needs to stop its arms shipments to terrorists.

Really concerned about the Christians in the refugee tents only 20 miles from front lines. Just read the updates. Those people in the mountains, their kids dying of thirst as they were forced to flee or die.
I normally ignore this stuff as its all too common, but this feels different. This is some really horrible shit. I hope we stop ISIS that's all I can say. So fortunate to not live there and to be here in America, its almost embarrassing.

The only way to stop in is by being worse than they are and that's the problem.

He's a conspiracy theorist, ignore him.

Yeah, I'm the crazy guy because no group of people has ever banded together to do something wrong or illegal....ever. And the news has never run completely fake, BS stories to justify out of control government spending. etc etc etc....

Sadly, this is true. My dad fought in ww2. He didn't like to talk about it much, but little he said about how the Japanese fought was pretty horrible. They pretty much had to blow them up out of or burn them out of every hole and cave. In many cases, they literally fought to the last man.

In many regards, ISIS is as bad or worse. The only way to defeat them will be to brutally slaughter every last one of them. And then make an example of every corpse. Soak it in pig blood and burn it or something just as ghastly. I'm not saying this because I desire it in even the slightest way, mind you - far from it. I wish we were past the point where we had to think about such barbarism.

My heart goes out to all who are in ISIS's path right now.
