Hi,
Could you tell me the best ISDN card on the market. It will be mainly used for multiplayer games and downloads so needs to be fast and around the £50 mark.

Also what's the best setup to have with ISDN over a network? I was thinking of having one ISDN card in my machine and then using internet connection sharing in win ME to share the connection with the other machine. Could someone tell me if the connection has dropped on my machine would internet connection sharing bring up the dial-up connection window on the other machine and connect like that? Is there a way of doing this as the other machine will need to dial when the connection drops.

Anyone know any fixed rate ISPs that support 128kbps connections in the UK? I've only found freeserve time which is just 64kbps and also BTInternet Anytime which is also only 64kbps.

Any help will be much appreciated,

Rigo

Can't help with the ISP info since I'm in the States, but for a network installation I would definately recommend an ISDN router. I've used the 3com ISDN cards in a network proxy setup found them to be unreliable in critical situations. you may be able to score an Ascent Pipeline 50 ISDN router for cheap on E-Bay, a pain in the ass to set-up but rock solid thereafter...

I second the Ascend (now Lucent) Pipeline 50/75/85. Not that hard to setup if you are familiar with them. They have every feature under the sun.

Sure, easy if you've done them or have previous router command experience (not alot of people out there can say they do). No GUI for you on this one!
