ISDN Networking

Running XP Pro. I have a Neatgear RH348 running my ISDN line. I have no problem when I connect to the back 4 ports of the router but I'm trying to network this through my house via a Netgear FS116 switch. Is this possible? Or do I need something other than a switch?

When I connect the router and the switch with a cable the (LED) on the back of the router is not illuminated but they are on the switch. Does the cable have to be a crossover cable?

The LEDs on both ends should either both light up, or not at all. Not sure why you're only seeing it on the switch end.
Usually when you connect a switch to a router, you use straight-through cables.
However, the "router" you have may have built-in 4 port switch, which are not really qualified as a router.
Try both straight and cross-over, and see which one works.

Crossover cable did the trick. Connected it from the router to the 1st switch and a regular patch cable to the 2nd switch. All is connecting great. Thanks for everyones help!
