:p
Motherboards [quality] with an ISA slot are hard enough to find,, you should applaud any maker who includes an ISA slot over a useless amr or cnr slot...
While i really enjoy reading your articles & reviews; there is one thing myself & others iv'e spoken to,, disagree with you about..
We feel you are out of step in some cases with the home builder user who buys aftermarket motherboards...
Reviewers like yourself are allways exposed to & provided with state of the art parts to review & test, which is cool. But for you to blast motherboard manf. for putting an ISA bus slot , on their motherboards is bullcrap.... There are many people that still use $900 scanners [ and other devices ] that still use an ISA SCSI card to interface with..... People still have useful soundcards. modems, network cards & whathaveyou...
We feel you should applaud Abit for using ISA against the tide of useless AMR & CNR slots.... I go out of my way to try & find a reliable well-made motherboard with ISA slot..
I say THANK YOU AMD !!!!!
AS I ALSO HAVE A KT7A & AM REALLY HAPPY WITH IT...

THANKS ;; GARY H.

No....completely different speeds, bus widths, voltages.

I disagree that AMR and CNR are useless.

<< Is there such a thing as an ISA to PCI adapter? >>

good question, don't think its possible though, because pci is supposed to run 33mhz, and isa works best @ 8mhz..
it would be nice tho.. :)
