IS7/IS7-E Max Ram Voltage/Bios Question

Just wondering about the is7's and ram voltages. The highest i can get my ram voltage to is 2.8v. I see a lot of people can go higher. Im using bios 14, but i can only go to 2.8v. Is that a bios issue or a motherboard issue? Is their any bios thats better for allowing a higher vdimm, is there any bios thats better overall for oc'ing then the current one im using?

I'd like to know that too. There is 15 out. I have 13 and I hate updating when there is nothing to gain.

I'm thinking it's a hardware mod (vdimm mod) to the motherboard. This requires desoldering, resoldering, wiring, complicated shtuffz that I can't do...ever...
