Is your Tbird clock locked?

Please tell me the speed of your Tbird and is it clock locked when you buy it.

Not clock locked....800 default....950 no problems, 980 or so tops...1 gig possible but starts havin problems (lock ups)

Some are, some aren't. If you get one with the L1's cut, simply use a #2 pencil to join the bridges.

Yesterday I helped a friend set up a new IWill KK266/TBird 1.2G Axia, and the L1 bridges were not cut. For the short term he'll be running it stock clock, but I'm sure in the not too distant future he'll do some o/c experimenting. We also installed a Taisol Cu bottomed HSF. It was my first experience w/ a Taisol and I'm impressed by the heft of that unit, as well as w/ the clip.

generally from 1.2 and up the bridges are not cut, so you can change the multiplier.

i have heard of some 1ghz being unlocked, but only a couple

lol when I first glanced at this I thought it said &quot;cock blocked&quot; gave me a good laugh this early at work...


anyway my 900 I recieved in December wasn't unlocked, so I crossed the L1's with pencil. It would do about 1080 just fine.. then the pencil wore off. Just lastnight I got bored and used conductive pen and its still working great. Easily takes a 11 multiplier and is stable at 1.1 Ghz just fine...

later tonight I'll try and find a good FSB and multiplier combo to get the most effective performance out of it.
