That is not good but not surprisingly sounds familiar. Dumb spot coolers overhead sometimes get a clogged condensate line and dripping will start from the ceiling panels overhead. The maintenance guys arrive and pull down a panel and GALLONS of water roll out right into monitors, laptops, and other expensive stuff. They laugh slightly but you can tell immediately it's a reactionary thing because fear ensues and the (awshit) feeling takes over and they realize they eff'd up. This happens too frequently. They need to be taught a lesson with a bungee cord or two.
