Nope. The only thing it shows "green" on mine are RAM, OS, Video Card, and Drivers. Everything else is either yellow or red.

I'm gonna have to call crap on this utility. :D

Athlon 64 3700+ @ 2.86GHz - nope (requires a dual-core? yeah right!)
2GB RAM - OK
WinXP - OK
X1900XT - OK
driver - OK
NEC DVD burner - nope (duh it isn't a blu-ray or HD DVD drive)
PowerDVD 5 - nope
Viewsonic vx2025wm - recommends upgrade to HDCP display

I'm OK except for the CPU supposedly  it must be an aweful system hog if it takes a dual-core. There should be no reason why a 2.86GHz single core isn't fast enough.

This app = crap

So it wasn't MS but Intel who screwed us this time. I haven't been much of an intel fan since the P4 but that's it. I hate you intel :frown:

Yep.

On another note, how do you like your 3007? I'm planning on getting one shortly.

It's awesome. 2405/7 users think they've seen the pinnacle, but the 3007 really shines :D

That's moronic. The E6600 (2.4GHz) is just as fast or faster than any FX or X2 chip, yet when Pabster ran the test on his 3.2GHz C2D, it failed his processor. This program is total crap.

Darn. My virtual machine isn't ready to watch BluRay movies. I think I'll go cry. :(

And I have XP x64...not W2K3. Amazing how it can't even detect what they're preaching so much (64-bit for BD/etc).

HDCP-compliant display: Yes, I do have that as a matter of fact.

DVDs also had hardware decoder cards that you could purchase if your CPU wasn't powerful enough or you wanted to free up your CPU to do other things while playing DVDs. Wonder if they'll bring decoder cards in for HD-DVD and BluRay. Frankly I don't really care and I'm not going to be watching movies on my PC. I'll wait till the format war is over and then buy the winner for my home theater.

I'm pretty sure all the latest GPUs have hardware H.264 decode acceleration.
