Is your MS Wireless Intellimouse a bit "floaty"?

Hey - I've been lusting after these new MS Wireless Intellimouse Explorers since they hit the market. They have a GREAT feel, many features and the notion of not having a cord really got me excited to own one. Well I just got one for Xams, installed it and have to say that I worried that it's a bit floaty and lags a bit as compared to my old wired intellimouse.

If you own one of these do you have this floaty sensation or is it just me? Maybe I'll get used to it over time or can you tell me that yours feels 100% soliidly connected to your wrist. It seems like I have to take a little extra care about where I want to go with the mouse - unlike my wired mouse where I could just click click click. It's not bad, just a subtlety but I want to know if you guys have had the same experience...

Happy Holidays!

Wireless mice have issues with their refresh rates sometimes. I think most of them are affected by the issue you are describing.

i had one, and the refresh rate sucks, and it sucks totally. i returned it and got my good ol' wired intellimouse explorer. you cant beat that.
