Is your laptop screen fuzzy when not set to max resolution??

I notice that in 3 brand-new DELLs 15" TFT, and on my 14" Systemax. Just wondering if that's normal.

Yep. I use a compaq presario with the ati rage mobility (which I think the dells use) and when it is in 640x480 the text is kinda fuzzy and soft. I kinda like it tho.

A LCD only has 1 native Res.
If you go out of the native res. the LCD has to resample the video, and it looks yucky
