Is your gmail working right now?!?

I'm on 56k and my POS internet is saying that it's taking too long to log into gmail (did this once before), but the thing is, I have very important matters possibly waiting for me in my email. Is there anyway to fix this or is gmail down for some maintenance?
 
it was messed up earlier but is working now for me.

on the other hand anandtech is fvcking slow..
