Not really. I'm pretty sure plus sizes are size 12 and up, and the average american woman is not 12 and up.

Not all "regular" models are super thin. The runway supermodels are (like size 0 and 1), but I think those girls don't look very good.

Go look up "plus size models" on google and tell me how many women you see who look overweight.

Example. Look at the tile of that page, and look at her photos. She's about the same size as most "plus size" models.

I think my GF is hot, we both agree we both need to lose some weight though.

She's definitely a head turner when she's walking down the beach in her bikini. She's pretty conservative most of the time though.
