They raised my premium more than 15% with no reason, and saying the raise is applying 99% of Allstate customers. Who are those lucky 1%?
Something smells fishy here. One agent told me they raised the rate 5 to 7% to all customers, and my raise is too much. The guy promised to call me back next day, then another guy called me saying there was 15% hike for 99% of their customers.
Your Allstate account jacked up like mine? Or the lucky ones?

I live in North Carolina and we recently got a refund from Allstate for overcharges. Other companies are involved also; this was ordered by our insurance commisioner. I've received no notice of any impending rate increase.

Hmmmm....I'll have to check.

I know that two months ago our rates went down 5%. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be looking for it next month.

Friends don't let friends use Allstate. The "good hands" people have their hands in only one place--your pocket.

Lord help you if you are EVER injured in an accident--I could give you details on what allstate does to you when you file a claim, but I do not want to be sued.

Get Geico or Progressive--you can get coverage over the phone, it is MUCH cheaper, and you get a claim check on the spot when you have an accident, to cover rental car expenses and auto body shop expenses, etc.

I got hit in Ft Lauderdale, Fl, last spring. After my car came to a stop, I called 911, and then Progressive. The damn Progressive Accident Response Vehicle was there BEFORE the fire truck!

The rep looked over my car, and printed out a claim form, a work order, a list of body shops, AND A CHECK before the tow truck arrived!

Yeah, I heard Progressive's service is great, but I called them and their quote was more expensive than Allstate's raised price, well over 250.00 for year. Damn, that is over 500.00 more expensive than last year's Allstate rate.

God help you if you have a claim with allstate. I was in an accident with a vehicle insured by them, as was I. The things I had to do to get them to pay to fix my car were just amazing. I promptly dropped them, both car and homeowners. The thought of having to file a claim on my homeowners plan scared the hell out of me.
