Is yahoo e-mail any good?

heard from a few people yahoo e-mail doesnt get nearly as much spam as hotmail. is that true? i need to move away from hotmail. who uses yahoo e-mail? how is it?

I use yahoo e-mail, its great, hardly any spam. The only spam I get is from job related sites, and even then, like maybe 2-3 of them a week.

Works rather well for me. I've used my yahoo address for various things and only one or two msgs a week bypass their filters.

I use it. Yahoo has a spam filter that puts certain emails into a bulk mail folder for you. I find it pretty convienent.

well yeah hotmail has that junk mail filter too but i have my list of 250 domains blocked and i still get at least 15 junk mails a day in my inbox. plus the tons that actually go into the junk mail filter

Yahoo is great. I use it for POPMail and it's very fast (unlike Mail.com 😀isgust😉

i use it as my bogus account, for mail in rebates, regestration for software, etc. combine it with yahooPOPS and get free pop3 service

i use mine for registration and stuff like that. tons of spam but their spam guard is very good. filters most of it out. now all the spam I get are those from email viruses.

I've stopped using Hotmail I was getting about 20 spamms a day with Yahoo its only about 3. I've had both account for about the same time and used both until now.

If you set your outlook express up to receive your hotmail mail then you wont get junk mail.

It was even better before when they offered 6MB mailboxes.

Now it's been reduced to 4MB for new customers.

Yahoo absolutely better than hotmail. Hardly any spam, and more space. Hotmail is definitely garbage and it give you no space. I've been getting 25-30 spams/day on Hotmail.

yahoo and web2pop work well.

I get plenty of spam tho and use mailwasher for everything first.
