After the revelation of the ballyhooed Xbox One recently, many gamers and industry insiders (?) came away with a sour taste in their mouths.
Why? The Xbox ONE attempts to control content on the device, forget about content sharing etc., in an attempt to streamline revenue streams and to ostensibly cut down on piracy (da fuq?).
Forbes came out with an article detailing some of the issues that surround the upcoming "next-gen" console.

The focus seems to have shifted away from gaming to sort of an AIO (all-in-one) system for home entertainment for the family. This is going to piss off a lot of "hardcore" gamers (lol.. anyone who thinks of himself as a hardcore gamer and still plays on console needs to have his head examined).
What do you guys think the response/reception to the Xbox ONE will be?
Wrong forum but there is already an Xbox One thread in Console Gaming.
