i got all the parts needed for my a64 gaming pc, but i have yet to decide if i will make the switch to x64 or stay with xp pro. is it worth the trouble of searaching for drivers even though they probably don't even exist yet? or should i stay with reliable xp pro?

It is not a big philosophical issue, what is good for others is not necessarily good for you and vice versa.

Get yourself for few $$ a 10GB Hard Drive.

Download (or order) the 180 days WinXP x64 trial, Install and judge for your self.

Link to: Windows XP Professional x64 Edition trial software

I think it a Very Cool OS, the Internet Explorer x64 version is lighting fast.

If you don't plan on using any 64 bit programs, then you don't need Windows XP x64. If you want to just be cool and be able to say you are using your CPU to it's fullest, you need Windows XP x64.
