Lyrics:

Wooly Bully
(Samudio)

One, two, three, four
All right
Watch it, watch it
Say man

Hattie told Mattie
About a thing she saw
Had two big horns
And a wooly jaw

Wooly Bully, Wooly Bully
Wooly Bully, Wooly Bully
Wooly Bully

Hattie told Mattie
Don't you take no chance
Don't you be L7
Come and learn to dance

Wooly Bully, Wooly Bully
Wooly Bully, Wooly Bully
Wooly Bully

Hey watch it now, man
Watch it, watch it

Mattie told Hattie it's the thing to do
Get yourself a filly
To pull the wool with you

Wooly Bully, Wooly Bully
Wooly Bully, Wooly Bully
Wooly Bully

You got it, you got it

Or do I just have a dirty mind? Just curious, not sure what a wooly bully is and figured maybe someone can enlighten me?

BTW, Sam the Sham and the Pharoah's sang it, the version I like anyway.

The first version had words that were not deemed appropriate at the time. Hence it was re-released about three times. Now the objectionable versions could be played without a second thought. Anyone who owns an original 45 has a rare piece of history.

Interesting. So, any idea what the heck a wooly bully is? Two big horns and a wooly jaw...

My memory isn't too good. That was the 1960s you know. Anyway, I remember some of the phrases in the 2nd or 3rd verse that were very graphic. I do not know what language is permitted/forbidden on this board so I let you guess the rest.
