is winXP pro required for SLI? or home edition good enough?

I have seen (on ABS I think?) that some websites let you customize your computer for a SLI solution ONLY if you get the PRO version of winXP. Does that mean that SLI will not work with the home edition?

Thanks!

both should be fine...

that is a double 😕 😕 and some additional  and  put in as well. There is absolutely no reason you need XP Pro for SLI. If you were running two dualcore Opterons on the other hand ...

I run 7800GTXSLI with a dual core A64m 4600+ on XP home, and 6800GT SLI on a A64 3800+ with XP Home, and have no problems.

I'm not a "power windows user" who delves into every option, but I haven't noticed much difference between the XP Pro I use at work and the XP Home I use at home.
