is windvd the cause of lag during dvd playback??

i tried playing a dvd for the first time on my laptop... and i got some lag from time to time during playback.... i don't think it's caused by the dvd player... but maybe the software

does windvd suck?

WinDVD plays well in MANY peopls's laptop.

Check your DVD disc, maybe it's too dirty or scratched.

There is nothing wrong with WinDVD. At least it has been updated unlike PowerDVD.

Is it possible that your laptop lacks enough umph to play DVDs smoothly?

WinDVD never gives me lag when playing dvds.
