Question Is Windows Your Phone App secure?

Hi guys, I am currently thinking about using Windows' Your Phone app to seamlessly access my phone via my Windows workstation. The reason for this is for me not to keep on physically accessing my phone to get authenticator codes, one-time passwords or to access some files and photos, but I am not sure if this is recommended? I am thinking what if my Windows workstation gets compromised all of the security codes that is sent to your phone gets accessed to?
