Is war of the worlds any good?

Just wondering if I should go see it.. Considering I dont really care for Tom Cruise.. But the movie looks good. Has anyone seen it? Was it good?

I thought it was a good popcorn movie. Don't expect it to be great and you'll enjoy it. The effects were top notch.

Steven Speilberg can't direct great movies anymore. His stuff is good at best.

Turn off your brain and relax for a couple of hours and you'll have a blast. Go into it trying to find errors or inconsistancies or trying to find a reason why it's not an award winner and you'll come out angry

The movie was very intense - shocking, almost - and if you can get into a theater that has great sound, you're in for a treat. The sound effects are AMAZING.

I really liked it.....although id say about HALF of the movie could be called "Minority Report 2' had the eXact same feel as MR and same acrot/director in certain parts.....other than that i really liked it

The movie sucked.....

It is a lot of emotional crap.... If I had something better to do, I would have walked out of the movie...I think the guy who squirted the water pistol on Cruise did good..
