i dont think its cheating, but like you said, its unhealthy. It gives people false expectations of what to expect from their SO. It can also take time away from your SO. It can be viewed as being selfish in regards of pleasing yourself, instead of sharing that with your partner.

but what's ok for one should be ok for the other in the relationship. (read: if he can watch it so can she (or he in your case)

thats still not cheating though. by your definition, gaming or doing any other hobby too much is cheating also.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Fortunately for me.. my wife's views/watches it too... so it's cool for us. :)

Huh?

I stated a 'fact' (in case you've missed his millions of threads on the topic) and expressed my opinion on the thread. I can't see that either of those is in any way a problem here, but you be sure to explain why if it is ;)

I'm not offended or upset it's cool.

I don't think it's the best thing for a relationship but I don't think it's cheating.

Because you are getting off on someone other than your SO.

If you're telling your significant other than you never think sexual thoughts about anyone but her/him, you are a liar. So you might as well be upfront about it.

Eh, I don't know, as long as it doesn't affect your real relationship. Not to mention those times that your girlfriend, fiancee, or wife don't want to bone or aren't horny or something. What have we got left???

I'm sure a lot of guys know what thats like.

Where do people come up with these stupid ideas? I mean, how warped do you have to be to equate watching porn with cheating on another person. The only thing I could imagine that could be considered "cheating" is if you have an arrangement to watch porn together and instead you're watching it on the side, but even that's a stretch.

Here I got one for you.

You got all kinds of toys out there for self pleasure, chains, whips, dicks on sticks, things that going in holes, and slide on poles, but lets say later in the future they are able to make a computer program and robotic what ever that can take on the human form in every way, dumb as a box of hammers, but you wish it to be man or a woman, big tits or dicks you name it it happens, but it is fully computerized and all purposes nothing more then a glorified sexual pleasure toy. It has no feelings towards or for you, cant fall in love, it is a machine, built to do one thing and its to get you off sexually, just as any other toy would you would use on yourself. But now that it takes on the human form to the T, in all ways in appearance, feel, lubrication , sound, and movement, would you, or your SO, find it as cheating if you were to have sex with it?

You know this thing isnt a vibrator, it isnt a fleshlight, it talks dirty to you, it does every position in the karma sutra hand book and then some, hell if it wasnt for the fact that all it could do is moan, and "say do me, do me", you would swear it was a real person, but it is still a sexual toy just like all the others aside it looks, acts, and feels real, in the bedroom, would you get pissed if you came home to see your old lady getting bonked by Hung Harry the 12" dynamo robotic stud, instead of the 12" replica of John Holmes?

If you're getting off on someone that doesn't know you exist, that's not cheating. ;)

There's nothing wrong with porn, women who try to forbid or guilt trip their partners into not watching it are either overly religious or insecure. The first is, perhaps, understandable, but the second is just pitiful. They shouldn't make their partners bear the responsibility of catering to their low self esteem. Women should watch it with their partners. :)
