Is Vice City before or after GTA3?

Vice City is set in the 80's, and GTA3 has a 90's feel (music, etc etc). So does the beginning of GTA3 goes with the end of Vice City?
Just wondering...

Not sure, but Vice City is before GTA3. The stories are in some way connected, I forgot how. I just got VC, going to play it now. =D

Story has one character, Donald Love which is in both games. I think Sonny is in GTA 3 too. But they are seperate games all togather. If Sonny dies in VC, then that has to be another Sonny.
