1. They're wrong.
2. They're taking a day off just for the hell of it. It lies on a day they're closed anyway, so they'll figure they'll take a day off anyway. That's like getting sick on the weekend, then calling in sick Monday because you could have taken the day off if it had fallen on a weekday. Bastages.

Edit: I see a lot of mondays on that list... I'm not going to look them all up, but it looks like they may be pulling this quite a bit.
