Is using teabagger in a political ad offensive

I think it is. Using a sexual act to describe your opponent just shows low class. And not only that, the teabagger is the one teabagging the democrats (the teabagee) so it's almost a compliment.

There's been a radio commercial running that makes mention of "the tea party rebuplicans" and then says "what will happen if these teabaggers gain control?" I was pretty shocked that a political ad was using teabagger, pretty low class. It's being run by some PAC, I can't remember which one but it starts off with a crowd cheering and a female saying "Get government off our backs, we're here to take our country back". I'll see if I can find it.

I don't find this offensive in any event. The sexual connotation of "teabag" is one that is unknown to the overwhelming majority of people who use that term to refer to Tea Party folk, most likely including the people who created that ad.

Tea Baggers originally referred to themselves as such because they carried tea bags... that was until they were told of the other definition of being a tea bagger.

I agree. The Tea Party was a group of strong democrats that wanted to end taxation without representation.

The Tea Baggers want to end taxation WITH representation and return the glory days of the cavemen.
