Is using OCZ Ultra 2 paste different from standard retail paste?

Well, I've always used the standard retail paste that comes with the cpu since I run all stock settings, but I want to keep my system as cool as possible for no real reason this time. Will using a paste like this require special installation or something different than what I usually do?
