Of course it's illegal. Using any device to get channels that you are not legally paying for is illegal.

Now, please allow me to step off of my soap box.

Enjoy !!

stealing services is illegal

Yeah, and you *will* go to hell as an additional bonus.

He's not kidding this happened to my uncle, scary stuff

what did he send you a post card or something?

naw silly he's still alive he received a postcard from Satan himself saying congratulations on successfully stealing cable
you have now won a free trip to hell {small print: note this offer does not expire is non transferable and will automatically be redeemed upon your demise. this is a one way ticket on coach and cannot be upgraded }

owning no, using on a your own private broadcast no, using on a cable company's broadcast very.

Most of these black boxes come from ex military guys designs.

My brother took sat-com in the Air Force....they basically give you a cable and satellite feed, you get graded on how many channels you could decode/descramble from them....he said some of the guys were selling the plans and got caught....it's a big time offense in the military.

From what I know.. anyone's allowed to use their own cable box to view cable, but watching channels that you don't pay for is not.

I heard some people get caught.. but I have no clue how they can catch u.
