Is USB 2.0 supported in Windows XP without an extra download?

I have been having problems with my keyboard lately, and I heard it might be available for download at windows update, but I can't find it? Does anyone know, or have a link to the update file?
 
why dot you stick the kbon the usb 1.1 port. it doesnt need 2.0 bandwidth. just a thought.
 
A) It's not supported "out of the box." You have to install them yourself.

B)What does your Device Manager look like? Is there a yellow question mark in the USB section?

C)Windows Update *should* pick it up and offer to d/l and install it for you, but sometimes it doesn't.

D)I seem to remember a sticky thread in either the CPU or the MoBo forums at Hardocp all about USB 2.0. There's some direct download links in there.
 
The answer to your question is "No." It will be yes after SP1 is released and installed.
