Is United going out of business?

you'd probably have better luck flying LAX -> EWR -> ATL on United.

Everything went to hell with the merger. Continental was significantly better in terms of pricing, flights, and treatment of employees (a bit biased for reasons).

why would you not fly southwest from LAX to ATL. Such a better option (unless you're one of those persnickety united 1k gold platinum buttchompers)

Fly Delta then? 11-12 direct flights per day on a variety of aircraft. Sometimes they sneak an internationally configured 777 in there for re-positioning flights

Depending on plane and schedule I'd likely pick Delta as SW only has 3 direct flights per day and all on 737s

Yeah, ended up booking with Delta. I was really surprised to find not a single direct flight with United from LAX to ATL.

Why you coming to ATL, bro? We needz reason to allow you in here.

'Cus I heard Atlanta is where the playas play
And where they ride on them things like every day
Big beats, hit streets, see gangsta's roamin'
And parties dont stop til' eight in the mornin'

Also, hookers and blow.

United isn't going to want to work for Delta, they're the competition, How many people want to go LA to Atlanta and just stay there?
