Is two gx2's still a waste?

Can somebody supply a reputable website link to a recent review of two GX2's in SLI. All the reviews I have read are somewhat old. I am assuming newer drivers have been released since these reviews. Anandtech here is one of those old reviews.
Or, better yet, does somebody have a personal experience with this graphics cards set up? Thanks mightily.

I would say so. Yes it's a waste. Get 2 GTX280s in that case (your paying $1200, plus another $200 for a 1000 Watt PSU(which doesn't really cut it anyway) , or just wait for newer one card wonder, perhaps the 4870x2 or another nvidia x2 to come?

Depends also on your resolution needs and filtering options really.
