Is Turtle Wax supposed to leave a residue?

I tried putting some turtle wax on my 96 silver accord and it left some residue. Am I supposed to rub it in harder ?

it's not supposed to, no.

i would get some fresh cloths and rub harder...re-apply wax if you need to. maybe you wiped it off too soon?

well, you're supposed to let it haze over (20 minutes or so) b4 wiping it off
