He is rich which could be good for the money part of the GOP base.
He has been married three times and is from the Northeast which is bad for the Southern Strategy and maybe the Religious Right parts of the base.
He is willing to say anything no matter how crazy which is great for the base.
I don't know what organizations he belongs to, but he wrote a book with Robert Kiyosaki, which is one of my favorite authors of all times, and much of what these two talk about is sensible, most of the time when I hear politicians jabber on it's hard to tell if they are serious or not, but with RK & Trump there is no doubt about it, they mean every word.
I may be inclined to believe that he has ulterior motives for running, to be sure, but I also believe he may be willing to do the job that needs to be done, even if it ruins him Politically. One thing that business people want to see is Obama care go into the trash bin where it belongs, and if he promises to destroy Obama Care, well that will be a step in the right direction. Though personally, I doubt he even stand a chance, he would have to get like a massive amount of electoral votes, which we seen from some campaigns, it seems rigged when we looked back at Ross Perot who did astoundingly horrible in all states. (3% or less!) Many people I know loved Perot & wanted to see him make it, but obviously the guy didn't stand a chance, I'm thinking Trump doesn't either, no matter how popular he is.
