He is rich which could be good for the money part of the GOP base.

He has been married three times and is from the Northeast which is bad for the Southern Strategy and maybe the Religious Right parts of the base.

He is willing to say anything no matter how crazy which is great for the base.

I don't know what organizations he belongs to, but he wrote a book with Robert Kiyosaki, which is one of my favorite authors of all times, and much of what these two talk about is sensible, most of the time when I hear politicians jabber on it's hard to tell if they are serious or not, but with RK & Trump there is no doubt about it, they mean every word.

I may be inclined to believe that he has ulterior motives for running, to be sure, but I also believe he may be willing to do the job that needs to be done, even if it ruins him Politically. One thing that business people want to see is Obama care go into the trash bin where it belongs, and if he promises to destroy Obama Care, well that will be a step in the right direction. Though personally, I doubt he even stand a chance, he would have to get like a massive amount of electoral votes, which we seen from some campaigns, it seems rigged when we looked back at Ross Perot who did astoundingly horrible in all states. (3% or less!) Many people I know loved Perot & wanted to see him make it, but obviously the guy didn't stand a chance, I'm thinking Trump doesn't either, no matter how popular he is.

I'm a huge fan of RK, not because of what other people say about him, but because he is honestly trying to give people a financial education for CHEAP!

I think the whole reason this country is in the mess that we are in, is the Gov. is leveraging too much of the Tax Payers money, wastefully spending way too much, and rather obviously have a very poor financial education. It's no small wonder that none of them are being held accountable for the gross oversights & blatant thievery of the American Tax Payers money!

They write programs into existence which never succeed, they pass bills designed to con America (401k), they write bills that makes Americans pay more though they already make very little, all the while in the back drop they are writing their own paychecks & retirement pensions which are guaranteed by the American Tax Payer, often for more than what 6-12 American workers make combined... Talk about being sold to slavery... Pay your taxes follow the laws and everything will be OK! Well it's no wonder that this country is going down the tubes, people are getting smarter though, and thanks to Robery Kiyosaki, many of us aren't so ignorant to the truth anymore!

We saw in California how the citizens had had enough, and they moved to prosecute the pigs who got just a little too greedy with the bonuses... I think > $50,000 for public service too much unless you are a senator or the president, clearly... If you can't live on $50,00 that's too FN BAD & it's definitely not the American Public's responsibility to pay for the oversights, greed, wasteful spending, and abuse of the Government! The abuse of the system has got to stop. When Prison Guards & Police officers get a 80-90% pension of their salary after 20 years of service and make $80-$100k/year things need to start changing and fast! Not even enlisted men risking their lives on the front line make that kind of money, so where is your argument, tell me? It's not that the cost of living has gone up that much, it's that the cost of Government has gone up & exponentially too! (The service is already horrible, just think how bad it will get when the budget cuts roll out!)

Cheap? Doubtful and his advice is common sense. He is full of lies and misconceptions about the world, similar to you.

How does 401k "con" america? American's don't make "very little" relative to the world. Kiyosaki doesn't tell you shit you can't find anywhere else, you're just brainwashed.

Pandering (politics)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pandering is the act of expressing one's views in accordance with the likes of a group to which one is attempting to appeal. The term is most notably associated with politics. In pandering, the views one is verbally expressing are merely for the purpose of drawing support up to and including votes and do not necessarily reflect one's personal values.
Pandering is essentially a reaction of panic in elected officials who must either tailor their views to public opinion or risk losing their existing or potential seat[1].
Politicians running for office are known to pander because their winning depends on the voters. When an election is upcoming, many straw polls are taken, and the results may change by the day or even by the hour. A politician by pandering is attempting to tilt the results in his/her favor[2].

I find that most fitting, don't you? lol!

That's the difference between the super wealthy like Donald Trump and us. They don't end up in the poor house no matter what.

It's not a credit to Donald Trump in any way.
Agreed. Trump is extremely talented at self-promotion and a savvy businessman, especially in the art of making deals with his profits and others' risk. Since all our politicians are or become wealthy while the country goes ever farther into debt at ever-increasing rates, obviously this is not a skill lacking in our political system. The only other thing he brings, Silly Hair, is already covered by Dennis Kucinich.

No, he is definitely bringing some radical ideas to the table which is why I wanted to post this in the first place, his thinking is very different & even scary sometimes, obviously he'd be willing to risk a lot more than most politicians.

Trump's greatest business achievement is convincing people that he had business achievements and turning that into a brand and a shitty tv show.

The Donald has apparently decided that in order to differentiate himself from mere "birthers" he needs to raise the ante:
Trump – who, however improbably, claims to be considering a presidential bid – said Monday that since his first public statement on the issue last week, "a lot of facts are emerging" that are making him question more seriously where Obama was born.
"I am really concerned," Trump said during an appearance on Fox News. "You have no doctors, you have no nurses … that remember."
"I brought it up just routinely, and all of the sudden a lot of facts are emerging, and I am starting to wonder myself whether he was born in this country," he exclaimed.
In an interview with ABC last week, Trump claimed that nobody remembered Obama as a child in Hawaii – a statement that was categorically false. His kindergarten teachers and others have previously given interviews with local Hawaii papers detailing their memory of Obama at that time.Trump did not repeat that claim Monday, but brushed off past statements from current Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie that he remembers Obama being born.
"I doubt it," Trump said of Abercrombie's contentions. "I think this guy should be investigated. He remembers when Obama was born? Give me a break. He's just trying to do something for his party."

He's a pot stirrer. That defines his style of management. He is also a egomaniac. Does ANYONE think that's a good combination except for himself of course.

Yes, that is my biggest problem with him. I'd love the headline, though, if he were to run, get the nomination, and lose: "YOU'RE FIRED!"

You are either the same paid shill for Trump that was in here in February or just another one.

Trumps strategy to just buy the Presidency via the Internets?

Isn't that basically what Obama did?
He didn't have any real political history and couldn't stand on any specific points in his campaign. When something didn't go his way he just bad mouthed the people that didn't vote for him.
Obama only cares about his appearance, not about his substance. Which explains why the media loves him.

Trump doesn't care what people think about him. This much is indisputable. Look at his hair.

I'm trying to think of an appropriate Looney Tunes character for Donald Trump since I already decided that Michelle Bachman is basically the Republican party's Wile E. Coyote. I'm deciding between Daffy Duck and Foghorn Leghorn but I'm not sure if either of them are best. Either way I know he's a cartoon and sure as hell is proving he's loony.
