Has he finally learned to hold on to the ball? Hasn't fumbled yet this season, rushed for 182 yards yesterday vs. Green Bay. Will Coughlin finally realize that Ron Dayne SUCKS?!

Well, the 'Gints have to justify using their pick on Dayne when they did, so they're not just gonna bench him in favor of Tiki all the time.

Plus, as much as I'd like to hope, the season's just getting into swing. There's plenty of time for Tiki to find his butter gloves and wear them to every game, again.

Well, looks like reduced number of carries is having a positive effect on him.

Shhh, I stole the gloves and threw them into the lava pit at the mount Doom.

No...
Why do you say that? 4 games, no fumbles. Many other star RB's already have 2-3 fumbles.
While you can say he is on pace to finish the season with no fumbles, he is inevitably going to drop a few - especially given his history. My prediction is that it will coincide with the Giants record moving towards .500... :p

Agreed. Tiki is not an everydown back, he's not a powerback that's gonna move the pile for 3 yards for a first. Tiki is not an up-the-middle pound-the-ball guy. But neither is Ron Dayne.

As I was about to throw them into the pit, I changed my mind and decided to put them on. However, the gloves slipped out of my hands and fell into the lava :(

Tiki is certainly helping my fantasy team!
I have always liked Tiki, he is a threat to break off a big run even though you can?t always count on him to get that critical third and one or third and two. And he is a great receiver. He?s personable and well spoken as well.

Most yards rushing AND receiving of any back in the NFL. 4th ranked RB going into tonight's game in my league.

Has Tiki really had that many fumbles compared to other guys? My guess is yes (who can forget the 3 fumble game?) but I've never seen how much worse it is, statistically. Tiki's great, and I hope he holds on to the ball this year long enough to get the respect he deserves.

He fumbled 8 times in 2002 and 9 last season (with six lost both seasons).

Whatever stat they showed on the packer game had tiki at the top of fumbles, with ahman green third. I've always felt a bit uneasy about tiki. He's no ahman green, anyway.

It's still waaay too early to tell... look at Quentin Griffon for example... people were muttering "Barry Sanders" after week 1... if Barber is still playing this well in week 8... then we'll talk.

Answer to your question..

1)G.B's D sux the big one

2)Maybe Tiki can give Ahman Green some ball handling lessons?

Barber's a proven back, minus the fumbling... As long as you remind him to protect the ball, he should be the go to guy over Ron Dayne on every situation except goal line sitchy's.

I should adjust my fantasy team to just follow the niners... whatever running back is playing against the niners in a given week, I should trade my ass off to get.... Man I'd win for sure!
