is tiger woods even human?

He's just cleaning up the competition. I dont think ive ever seen even him make so many rediculous shots before. Looks like he'll end up more than 20 under par.

edit: beaten to it by about 5 seconds... please delete

no jim, medinah was not the site of the last major of the 20th century. that was valhalla in louisville

He's hitting some pretty crappy drives right now, but with a 5 shot lead, it really doesn't matter.

Nicklaus has had a superior career thus far.

Year for year, or overall? Cuz I think tiger is on a much faster winning pace than nicklaus. I think tiger will easily surpass him, but both are gods of the game.

PGA tour wins

Tiger still has plenty of golf to play too. He will no doubt surpass Sam Snead.

lol all he needs is 2 more pga wins and he'll be right amongst the legends. No doubt he'll clear the top by the end of his career

Easily, if somebody doesn't put a bomb on his plane.

I foresee Jack Nicklaus hiring someone to run Tiger over with his Volkswagen beetle while calling him a jackass in the near future. 😛

Not to take anything away from Tiger, but if you had been taught how to play golf from the time you could walk, and getting to play as often as you wanted, you could probably be pretty good too.

I think golf, bowling, billiards, and some other sports that are heavily reliant on muscle memory could be mastered by many people if they had the opportunity.

Muscle memory can only account for Tiger's physical abilities, but doesnt explain his creativity (doing certain shots in certain situations) and his ability to perform under pressure...

I would argue this mental ability is way tougher to learn/master than physical abilities...

Then why aren't the other golfers as good as Tiger?

Great. Go teach your son how to play golf when he starts walking, and I'm positive he will be a pro. Practice makes perfect!
