been having some serious latency issues with them as well lately... performance has been really bad

cyberwings rules......

i am sure there will be a CW fanboi here somewhere?

My ThrillHost account was down shortly today.

Whenever your web hosting account is down, regardless of who your web host is ... it's probably mentioned on WHT.

The spirit of Shawn White decends upon you.

I am not sure why you continually feel the need to flame my company, especially since you are not a client of ours. If you have had a bad experience with a previous host, then deal with that host. Making comments such as this are uncalled for and to be honest, childish.

The issue in this thread was not caused by the server. The datacenter where it is located experienced a router failure. Even with the outage, this particular server has a 99.4% uptime for November with an average response of 0.242 seconds. This outage affected only one of our servers. In regards to the latency mentioned later in the thread, that was the result of DDOS attacks against the datacenter for which they are bringing additional lines in to retain performance even while being attacked. We continue to monitor the issue, however, to determine if these additional lines will resolve the latency when it occurs as we are not willing to sacrifice network performance.

Once again, I feel our customers can provide the best feedback, after all, they are the ones who experience our service and have the actual knowledge to provide such.
