I current have a dell 8400, 3.2, 1 gig ram, 6800 GTO

I run CS:S on the dell 2005fpw and it runs sorta slow...

make it 2 gig ram
and 7900 GT

is this worth the upgrade?
 
I think so. I got that same monitor not long a go and at native resolution it lagged with a 7800gt so now I got an xtx. But you should see quite an improvement in your framerates.
