I made the mistake of choosing the ram for my build before understanding cas latency, clock speed and timings. Unfortunately, I'm past the return period but this will bother me if its worth the purchase. I currently have 16gb G.Skill (8gb x 2) Ripjaws X 1333mhz 9-9-9-24.

Would there be a noticeable difference in performance from 1333 to 1733 Or is it not worth the purchase?
 
You're asking if it's worth returning or selling off 16GB of DDR3-1333, and buying DDR3-1733 (is that even a speed? usually you see 1600 or 1866)?

No, not really. Not unless you will be gaming with an IGP. If you have a discrete video card, don't bother.

Haha sorry I meant 1866. I was referring to the specs on that corsair link I included. But yea exactly what u said. If there's a big difference I would have sold the g skills and purchased ddr3 1600 or 1866. And yes I do have a decent video card.
