Why i want to use PayPal is because i'm always safe with them also, i think it would be the best mode of payment for you. In addition, i'm always busy in the Hospital therefore, all you need to do now is just send a PayPal money request to this my email address in order to effect the payment ASAP but if you do not have one, you can visit www.PayPal.com, set up an account and get back to me immediately.

I did have some fun with one of the scammers when I put my laptop up on Craigslist, though. I eventually told him I ate the laptop and asked if he still wanted it. Never heard back.

anyway, how does the rest of this scam play out?

they pay you from a hijacked paypal account and get you to ship it a different address than the account address (why they say it is a gift, they want you to ship it to the friend)
when the fraud on the paypal account is reported, your $ gets pulled back by paypal and you are screwed

to be fair OP that's one I haven't heard before and I've sold quite a bit on craigslist.
